When things feel heavy,
it can be hard to notice what’s still good.

It’s easy to focus on what’s not working.
What feels uncertain.
What feels like it’s missing.

Maybe something didn’t go the way you hoped…
something you’re still carrying…
or a constant worry that’s hard to quiet.

And when you’re in that space…
your mind can stay there.

But that’s not the full picture.

Even now…
there are still small things here.

A person.
A message or a call.
A feeling of support.
A small laugh.
A familiar song or show.
A favorite meal.
A comforting smell…
something to look forward to.

Not to ignore what’s hard…
but to gently widen your view.

Because what you give your attention to…
begins to grow.

And sometimes,
that small shift is enough.

If you need it, you can come back to these:

I can notice what is still here.
I can hold both the hard and the good.
I can feel what I’m feeling… and still move forward.
I can gently shift where I place my attention.

A Gentle Shift in Perspective

What feels difficult right now…
and what is still steady or present alongside it?

What is one small thing today that felt supportive, comforting, or familiar?

Where has my attention been going…
and where would I like to gently place it instead?
