Finding Your Way Back to Yourself

There are times when life seems to change all at once.

New places. New routines. New responsibilities. New beginnings. Even when the changes are ones we chose or hoped for, they can still leave us feeling a little disconnected from ourselves.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been reminded that feeling grounded doesn't always come from having everything figured out or finally reaching the point where everything feels settled.

Sometimes, it comes from the much smaller moments.

Taking a quiet breath.

Noticing something beautiful around you.

Feeling grateful for one thing that went well that day.

Making time for something that feels like you.

Recognizing that, even amongst the uncertainty, there is still so much that is good.

I've tried to hold onto those moments throughout a season of change. Not by pretending that every day feels easy or knowing exactly where everything is leading, but by continuing to come back to what feels steady within me.

And lately, I've noticed something shifting.

There is a little more space. A little more familiarity. A feeling of settling in. And with that, parts of myself that had become quieter while navigating so much change are naturally beginning to come forward again.

It has reminded me that perhaps coming back to ourselves isn't something that happens once everything else falls into place.

Maybe it happens in all the little moments along the way.

In choosing gratitude for what is here today. In trusting what we can't yet see. In noticing what brings us peace, joy, or connection and making a little more room for it.

We can appreciate where we are while still being excited about where we're going.

We can feel unsettled and still find moments of peace.

And no matter how much changes around us, we can continue finding our way back to ourselves.

What has helped you feel most like yourself lately?

What is something, however small, that you can feel grateful for in this moment?

What might change if you trusted where you are right now, without needing to know exactly where it is leading?
